A graphic novel about Dietrich Bonhoeffer, a German pastor who resisted the Nazis and plotted to kill Hitler. It’s a good book about how people inside Germany resisted the Nazis. This book goes into Dietrich’s life and how all this led him to be part of an organization that planned to kill Hitler. This book also explains the history of the Nazi Party and how Hitler rose to power.
First of all, this book has excellent art. It uses metaphors and graphics to depict Nazi Germany during the war. It also does an extraordinary job of going into Dietrich’s thinking on the war. Overall, it’s a powerful and engaging read that combines history with art.
