Some stories explain Christmas; this one dares to rewrite it. A Boy Called Christmas is a movie that truly captures the magic and wonder of childhood, featuring actors; Jim Broadbent, Maggie Smith and Toby Jones. This film is produced by David Heyman, who is known for producing the Harry Potter films and Paddington. The genre of the movie is fantasy, adventure and family, with strong elements of Christmas and holiday magic.

A Boy Called Christmas follows Nikolas, an ordinary boy who sets out on a dangerous journey to find his missing father and the mythical village of Elfhelm. Along the way, he befriends a loyal mouse, encounters magic he never imagined and discovers the power of hope, kindness and belief. His adventure ultimately transforms him into the legend we now know as Father Christmas or “Santa Claus”.

Featured actor Henry Lawfull is a young British actor best known for playing Nikolas in A Boy Called Christmas. His natural, heartfelt performance made him stand out, especially for a newcomer working alongside very well-known actors. His portrayal of bravery and innocence helped carry the film and marked him as a promising rising talent.
