Are villains really villains? Are superheroes always good? A book filled with action-adventure, double identities and fun mysteries. The Renegades is an all-around great read. The book is set in a world where people have supernatural abilities. The Renegades are the ones credited with saving the world, but not everyone believes that. The book follows Nova, a young girl who has always hated the Renegades and is on a mission for vengeance, until she meets Adrian, a renegade himself who believes in justice. Together, they realize that the world is more than superheroes and villains.
The Renegades isn’t your average good vs evil story. I adore this book for its great writing, characters, interesting superpowers and intriguing mystery. The ending also leaves more questions than answers, which will make you want to read the other two books in the trilogy.
