Book Recommendation: When You Reach Me

This book follows Miranda, a 12-year-old girl living in New York in the 1970s. When she receives mysterious notes that predict the future, including the death of someone close to her, she writes a letter back to the sender. As you make your way through the book, you will be reading her letter, and kept on the edge of your seat until the mystery is revealed at the very end. This book is a bit simpler, but the mystery and writing are still amazing. It blends science fiction, mystery and realistic fiction into one simple yet cohesive story. All the characters have an important part to play, and the ending is just a perfect way to tie it off.
